Lahav Shani announced as Chief Conductor of the Munich Philharmonic
From the 2026|27 season, Eisler alumnus Lahav Shani will become Chief Conductor of the Munich Philharmonic. He studied conducting with Profs. Christian Ehwald and Hans-Dieter Baum and piano with Fabio Bidini.
Richard David Precht and Eisler students in concert
Together with the philosopher Richard David Precht as speaker, the composition classes of the School will premiere their own compositions on Musil's novel "The Man Without Qualities", staged by Folkert Uhde.
Luka Hauser First Kapellmeister at the Staatsoper Stuttgart
For the 2023|24 season, conductor Luka Hauser will become First Kapellmeister and assistant to General Music Director Cornelius Meister at the Staatsoper Stuttgart. He is currently studying orchestral conducting at the Eisler with Prof. Christian Ehwald and Prof. Alexander Vitlin.

Anne Luisa Kramb winner of the German Music Competition
The violinist Anne Luisa Kramb, student of Prof. Antje Weithaas, is the winner of the German Music Competition 2022. The Elaia Quartet, Lauriane Maudry, Susanne Geuer and Michaela ?pa?ková were awardet scholarships from the music competition.
Peter Fleckenstein Principal timpani at Gürzenich Orchestra in Cologne
Peter Fleckenstein, student of Profs. Franz Schindlbeck, Rainer Seegers and Biao Li, won the audition as principal timpanist in the Gürzenich Orchestra in Cologne and will begin his probationary period there in the 2022/23 season.
Eisler alumni permanent members of the Potsdam Chamber Academy
Eisler alumni Suyeon Kang and Maia Cabeza, as concertmaster and section leader of the second violins, and Florian Bensch, as bassoonist, have been permanent members of the Kammerakademie Potsdam since 2021.
